A New Television Series set in the Shadow Cinematic Universe

Overview

London, 1888. William Wynn Wescott, Coroner of London, co-founds The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a secret occult society rooted in ancient sorcery, the Hebrew Kabbalah, and dark magic. Members include W.B. Yeats, Arthur Conan Doyle, Florence Farr, Oscar Wilde, a teenage Aleister Crowley, the future heir to the British throne, and… Bram Stoker.

WHITECHAPEL is the story of Bram Stoker, his intimate association with the Golden Dawn, and their use of occult rituals to further their personal ambitions. It explores the consequences of their folly and Stoker’s desperate struggles to contain the evil he’s unleashed before it consumes everyone, and everything, it touches.

The series Pilot is the opening movement in this malevolent ballet. It sets up and defines the world of the Golden Dawn in late-19th century London, Stoker’s involvement in this secret society, the unholy origin of Jack-the-Ripper, and Stoker’s hunt for the evil stalking the streets of Whitechapel.

Meanwhile, a brilliant renegade detective and former paramour of Arthur Conan Doyle hunts the Ripper on her own while battling pervasive misogyny and a former lover who stole her life’s story to create one of the greatest literary characters in history.

Underpinning all, a dark secret lurks in the shadows as Stoker, his wife, and Oscar Wilde indulge their passions in an illicit three-way love affair as the chaos escalates around them.
