After an ancient enemy opens a rift in the veil separating our world from the Void, Unspeakable evil is unleashed on humanity: demons, hideous beasts, formless souls and dark elementals - all intent on our destruction. Initially refusing to engage, a desperate plea from an old friend, and the death of a new one, compel her to action. Now she’s in a frenzied race to find the source of the rift and destroy its creator before humanity succumbs - all while struggling with centuries of bitterness at the life forced on her, and existential self-doubt rooted in the failures from her past.
